报告摘要:
       In this talk, the importance of characterizing, understanding and manipulating the materials structure and chemistry at multiple-length-scale in controlling the behavior of energy related materials will be highlighted with some of my research work. Representative examples will be discussed to show how this general approach can be achieved on the study of mechanical, electrochemical and corrosion properties in a wide range of materials including nuclear alloys, solid oxide fuel cell cathodes and novel graphene based porous networks.

        倪娜，英国牛津大学材料科学与工程博士，曾先后为英国帝国理工学院博士后、研究员。现任上海交通大学特别研究员、帝国理工学院荣誉讲师。主要研究领域为先进工程材料在核电、高温燃料电池和发动机等领域的应用，着重研究严苛环境下材料的力学、电化学及抗腐蚀性能和原子-纳米-微米跨尺度结构组成对性能的调控机制。近年发表学术论文30余篇，国际会议报告20余次（6次特邀），并任国际多孔材料大会分会主席。主持8项英国工程和自然科学研究委员会基金等科研项目。曾获英国科技设备委员会早期生涯科学家奖，英国工程和自然科学研究委员会博士奖金及美国电化学协会大会优秀论文等奖项。现任美国陶瓷学会、英国皇家化学学会和英国皇家电镜学会会员，担任数十家国际期刊编委和审稿人。
