刘兴博教授简介:
Dr. Xingbo Liu, Associate Professor in MAE department at WVU, received his Ph.D on Materials Science from University of Science & Technology Beijing, in 1999. In recent years, he has been working on advance materials for clean energy conversion and storage, such as SOFC and rechargeable Na-battery. Liu has published 54 peer-review journal papers and given 61 presentations in international conferences. He has received numerous awards including TMS Early Career Faculty Fellow Award (2010) and R&D 100 Award (2011). Prof. Xingbo Liu is currently working with industrial partners to scale-up and commercialize this technology, which just received the 2011 R&D 100 Award, the most prestigious award on industrial R&D in US. He is the lead and Co-organizer for 15 symposia including “Energy Storage Symposium in MS&T conferences, and “Materials for Clean Power Symposium in TMS Annual Meetings. Now he is PI of 10 projects and Co-PI for 8 other projects, with the total budget of $17Million.
