2013年11月10日-13日，副所长贾德昌教授赴台湾参加了在台北召开的第4届低碳社会可持续能源应用先进陶瓷与技术国际研讨会 (The 4th International Symposium on Advanced Ceramics and Technology for Sustainable Energy Applications toward a Low Carbon Society―ACTSEA 2013)。
本次研讨会由台湾国立成功大学承办，吸引了来自11个国家和地区的116名代表与会。大会共设5个主题报告，40个邀请报告和39个展示论文。会议共分为低碳、可持续社会与核能应用的电池与能量储存材料与技术；高能效技术与应用；燃料电池；光伏与太阳能；热电、LED和其他等5个专题领域。
贾德昌教授应邀出席并作了题为“Effect of Cs+ partial substitution to K+ on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Cf/KGP composite before and after high temperature treatment”的邀请报告。另外，代替研究生进行了2篇论文 “Oxidation Behavior of SiBCN Ceramic at 1300ºC in Flowing Air Compared with SiC and SiC/BN Ceramics”和“Damage Behavior of Unidirectional SiCf/KGP Composite Exposed to Air at Elevated Temperatures”的展板展示。
